Frequently asked questions
Can I try VitalSentinel before paying?
Yes. The Free plan needs no credit card. Use it as long as you like to evaluate VitalSentinel – it includes every module, just with lower limits.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
We'll notify you as you approach your limits. Once you reach one, new URLs can't be added and extra events won't be recorded until you upgrade or your next billing cycle begins.
Do I need a paid plan to use the API or the MCP server?
No. The REST API and the MCP server are available on every plan, Free included. What changes with your plan is the monthly API credit allowance – rate limits are identical on every tier. Workspace owners and admins create scoped API keys in the app under Settings, then API, then API access.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer annual billing?
Currently we offer monthly billing only.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice.
What if I'm not satisfied with a paid plan?
Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime, so you won't be charged for the next cycle. To avoid surprises, we recommend evaluating VitalSentinel on the Free plan first, since it includes every module.
