What it checks

  • Whether the most recent 28 days pass Google's Core Web Vitals assessment, and which metric fails if they do not

Questions

Why does it say there is no data for my site?
The Chrome UX Report only publishes a page or a site once it has had enough qualifying visits in the last 28 days, and Google does not say what that number is, so there is no target to aim for. Most individual URLs never reach it. When a URL comes back empty we check the whole site as well and tell you whether widening the scope will return data, so you know whether it is this page or your traffic overall.
Why is INP missing when LCP and CLS are there?
INP needs interactions, not page loads. A page people read and then leave can collect plenty of visits without ever producing enough taps, clicks or key presses for Chrome to publish an INP value for it.
Does this cover Safari and Firefox visitors?
No. The Chrome UX Report is Chrome only. If a large share of your traffic is iPhone users on Safari, this data is missing them entirely, and measuring your own visitors with RUM is the only way to see them.
How far back does CrUX history go?
Google publishes at most 40 weekly readings here and adds one more every week. Each week covers the 28 days up to it, so neighboring weeks overlap heavily and a one-day spike gets smoothed away. Google keeps a longer history elsewhere, but only month by month and only for a whole site.
How is this different from CrUX Vis?
Both read the same public Chrome UX Report data, so the weekly numbers should agree. CrUX Vis is Google's own dashboard for that dataset and goes deeper if you want to slice it. This is the lighter alternative built around one question: paste a URL or a domain, pick phone or desktop, and get up to 40 weeks charted with a plain verdict on Core Web Vitals for the most recent 28 days. When a URL has no data we check the whole site too, so an empty result tells you whether the problem is that page or your traffic.
