What it does not
- It compares whole sites, not pages. Your product template against theirs is a different question
- One run is one device type. Google counts phone and desktop separately, and a site can lead on one and trail on the other
- Chrome only, and only visitors who opted in to sharing usage statistics. A competitor with mostly Safari traffic is judged on a thin slice of it
- It measures the result, never the cause. It cannot tell you why anyone is faster

- Why does a competitor show no data?
- The Chrome UX Report only publishes a site once it has had enough qualifying visits in the last 28 days. Below that there is no record for anyone to look up. Also check the address you entered: www and non-www count as two different sites here.
- Is it legitimate to look up a competitor's Core Web Vitals?
- Yes. Google publishes the Chrome UX Report openly so that anyone can look up any site in it. Nothing here touches the competitor's servers, and the sites being compared never see a request from this tool.
- How current is Chrome UX Report data in this comparison?
- Each site is shown for the most recent 28 days Google has published for it, and the end date is printed under every site. Those dates can differ by a day or two between sites, so the periods are close but not identical. Results are cached for an hour, so re-running the same comparison returns the same numbers.
- Why does my site fail Core Web Vitals when it beats every competitor?
- Google's thresholds are fixed, not relative: LCP at or under 2.5 s, CLS at or under 0.1 and INP at or under 200 ms, all at the 75th percentile. Beating the three sites you picked only tells you those three are slower. You are scored against the same fixed numbers Google Search Console reports against.
